About Us
Daniels Nursery is a wholesale grower of balled and burlapped deciduous trees, having planted our first tree in 1993.
The farm is comprised of 100 irrigated, deer-fenced, acres located between the beautiful Columbia River and Huckleberry Mountain Range in northeastern Washington. This location offers excellent growing conditions for zones 2, 3 and 4. Our soil type, which is volcanic ash, silt, loam with a clay base has proven to be a great media for our balled and burlap root packages as it not only holds moisture, but accepts moisture very rapidly. You will find the heads of our trees to be significantly larger due to these growing conditions and our nursery practices.
We specialize in cold hardy plant material for the mountainous regions of the west, from Arizona and California to South Dakota, through Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and into Alaska and Canada.

We hired Daniel in May 2008 after he stopped by the Nursery to let us know that he “should be working here since his name is Daniel!” Along with his light-hearted sense of humor, Daniel has proven to be a steadfast asset to the Nursery. He always has a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. In the Nursery, his work ethic is priceless and his ox-like strength lends itself so useful in moving trees and heading up the landscape crew. He is a good Leader and a good team player. We appreciate Daniel and what he brings to Daniels Nursery... whether his name is Daniel or not!
